I had this idea: Cook every recipe in this book for a year and then blog about it. Then I realized I had just watched the trailer for a movie with exactly that premise. So that made me realize that I did not have an idea.

that's so weird, because i had that idea yesterday afternoon then that evening my mom took me to a movie with the exact same premise. i wonder if it's the same thing you saw.
I think it may be too ambitious to cook every single recipe from a cookbook. Maybe start with every single recipe from another book, like Joseph Campbell's "The Masks of God," or "The Catcher in the Rye." There aren't many - okay, any - recipes in those, not oven one for Rye bread. Disappointing.
