Migraine?
I think I had one all night last night. I suppose saying, “I think I had a migraine,” is something like saying, “I think I had an orgasm,” you'd know it if you had one. But last night I had a strange visual presence occupying my peripheral vision. It actually scared me so I went right to bed. I slowly became aware, in my half sleep, of a headache developing. It was going strong by morning and only started to let up after my morning ablution.

sounds like a migraine to me! i always get them with the changing of the weather and pollen/mold-ness. that and drinking too much pop. i have special medicines if you ever need one.
Were you drunk when you had your migrane? That would be something like saying, "I think I had an orgasm." Seriously, migranes are quite painful and are often preceded by a visual aura. I have not heard that a ritual of physical cleansing can rid thee of thy migrane . . . but who knows.
Two words: alien abduction. Migraines don't exist.
Anon,
I use the term "ablution,” euphemistically (that is, incorrectly) for going to the bathroom - which might help confirm Emily’s theory.
Sounds exactly like some of the migraines I have gotten. Starts with an aura and develops slowly. Others can happen - - ironically - - while the big O occurred. takes the fun out of sex, let me tell you. And still others happen when I get a visit from Aunt Flo. ( I can't believe I said that) No aura, just increasing pain that isn't helped w/ standard drugs.) I did get a shot in my tooshy of Demerol for it which made me VERY VERY happy.

TMI, SA, TMI. I learned that from The Office. It means "Too much information." It's kind of like saying, "Don't go there," which is cool.
