In bike racing when you are "playing the accordion" it means you are toward the back of the field. Each time the group comes to a corner it bunches up. And each time it accelerates from the corner, it strings out. The effect is much worse the further back you are, and thus, you are "playing the accordion." I'm not sure if Will Glahé knows this or it's just a coincidence. Regardless, I whole-heartedly agree with your assessment and think it's a fine choice for LP of the week!
