My other question is, do you or any of your friends know what kind of bat this is?

Did I ever tell you about Doom in the freezer? Well, Steve Hotchkiss' dad had a dog named Doom. He was type of dog that got into fights with mountain lions, and came home limping and proud. Come to think of it he may have only had three legs. Anyway, when Doom died Steve's dad couldn't bear(or is it bare) to part with him. So, he wrapped Doom in foil and kept him in the freezer....for years. It wasn't until one hot summer day when the power went out for a little too long that Doom was removed and given a proper burial. I know it sounds vaguely like Hotel New Hampshire, but I assure you it's true. This, Jon Sadler, could happen to you if your not careful. Oh, by the way..what you have there is a big eared, sharp clawed, yellow bellied bat. You're Welcome.

Why of course that would be the Myotis Evotis, or more commonly known as the long-eared bat. Find out more at http://www.batcon.org/discover/species/myevotis.html

The common bats found in your area are the myotis volans (long legged bat), the myotis evotis (long eared bat), and the myotis thysanodes (fringed myotis).

Thank you DMO and Ty. I thought it might be a Long Eared Myotis but in the pictures I found the bat was so dark.
I just thought of something. You two should get your little boys together (assuming that you have little boys). If you don't have little boys you should get some and name them Noah and Milo.

Today was Milo's third birthday party, and Noah and Milo partied down(we're talking...filled the bounce house up with water and let things roll from there). Thank you very much.
